Sue Bysouth wins Special Recognition Award
The European Recruitment Network is proud to announce that Sue Bysouth, General Manager has won the Hertfordshire Recruitment Award for Special Recognition.
Since 1969, Sue has seen many changes in the industry, starting with a rollerdex and key and lamp phone to the sophisticated database we now all take for granted. In fact Sue is a key player in ERN’s venture, MyWorkForce, acting as Project Sponsor Sue is championing this state of the art and innvovative project.
Sue has seen many legislation changes over the years and as a fellow of REC has contributed in all organisations to the training and development of staff.
It has always been a major part of Sue’s responsibility to recruit and build teams and this is continued within the ERN group where she is a General Manager, responsible for Network Recruitment and Safety Select.
Sue always seeks new and innovative ideas to motivate her teams. One such example was spot prizes for new business won, which was and still is hugely popular within her teams. Sue prides herself on spotting potential consultants. Working and mentoring has helped these consultants become highly successful in their given field.
From the sublime to the ridiculous, Sue has been known to stand in St Albans with the town crier to attract staff to work for her. She has ridden on a float in a carnival several times and visited colleges to talk to people looking to return to the work place. All this sums up Sue’s networking skills! Sue moves within the REC to REC environment, helping all consultants find their place.
